All best wishes for the coming year! Move on over to Coming Events to see what’s up (registration night on January 4, Open House on January 11). And you will also find the programme and briefs for the Tea Dance on February 12.
I’ve corrected a typo on the dance briefs (in bars 5-8 of The Old Man of Storr). You can print out all the briefs (go to the Coming Events page) or, if you have already printed out the briefs, print out just that page — or correct your printout with pen or pencil; your choice.
(Thanks to Laurel for spotting it and to Griff for letting me know)
The Windsor Star’s Kelly Steele produced a note on the Branch that was published in the paper on Tuesday, August 2 — and on the newspaper’s website there is also a brief video featuring a brief interview with June Dey and some views of dancing at Bedford United. Take a look: http://windsorstar.com/life/woman-of-steele-getting-their-jig-on
Added information about the 2016-2017 season. Also, the programme for the 2016 Annual Ball. Check in Coming Events.
I’ve posted the dance programme and the briefs for the upcoming potluck on May 28 at Bedford United Church Hall. Look in Coming Events.
You can download the registration form — which includes the schedule and dance program — from the Coming Events page.
Directions to the Roseland Golf and Curling Club, and dance briefs are up (see Coming events).
Details of the programme, teachers’ names, and application form will be up in the next few days.
I’ve posted the programme and briefs for the February 7 Tea Dance at the Scottish Club.
Please note the change in starting time: doors will open at 1:30 p.m., with the dance starting at 2:00 p.m.
(This should allow those so inclined plenty of time to reach a TV set before Super Bowl 50 kick-off)
We need to let you know that the 50th Anniversary Ball is sold out. There may be a waiting list for any cancellations (but I don’t know).
